Projects Direct provides a complete planning permission service, guiding you through every stage of the application process—from the initial survey and design proposals to the successful submission of your planning application. We manage the technical drawings, documentation and coordination required, allowing you to progress your project with confidence.


What's Included

  • Measured and photographic survey of the existing property (internal and external) where applicable.
  • Advice on whether a third-party measured survey is required for larger or more complex properties.
  • Preparation of an initial design proposal, including one online presentation to discuss the proposed scheme.
  • Preparation of a comprehensive drawing package, including:
  • Existing and proposed site plans
  • Existing and proposed floor plans
  • Existing and proposed elevations
  • Sections (where required)
  • Contiguous elevations


  • Purchase of the Ordnance Survey Ireland Site Location Map (cost of the map purchase is excluded).
  • Preparation of all planning documentation, including:
  • Planning application form
  • Cover letter
  • Newspaper notice
  • Site notice


  • Arrangement and preparation of the newspaper notice and lodgement with the selected publication.
  • Preparation and lamination of the site notice (the client is responsible for erecting the site notice on the property).
  • Submission of a valid planning application to the relevant Local Authority.
  • Monitoring of the planning application throughout the assessment process and responding to routine planning correspondence where required.
  • A complete planning application pack, including copies of all drawings and submitted documentation, for your own records.

Important Information

A full measured survey of your property is required before a planning application can be submitted. For smaller properties, Projects Direct can provide this service as part of your quotation. For larger or more complex properties, we may recommend that an independent survey is commissioned prior to commencing the design and planning process.
